Jay is our K9 Nose Work instructor as we meet the demands of this growing dog sport. Jay has an interesting history which brought him to where he is now, having first hand experience working with dogs in 4H, an American Youth Agricultural Organisation.
Jay went on to learn about advanced ethical training techniques while he was deployed with the K9 Unit in the US Martine Corps. He soon became fascinated and even enchanted by the dogs’ noses and has continued to pursue a career in dog training.
Jay is currently an Assistant Nose Work Instructor under NACSW and is not far off being fully accredited, but the experience he has under his belt is certainly worth noting.
Jay is passionate about scent work and loves assisting handlers and their dogs, finding ways in which they can improve their relationship, their bond and their skills!
