Can I please remind all dog owners that dogs do not wear shoes, they walk barefoot. I say this because yesterday while on my way home early afternoon, I saw a young man waiting at the traffic lights while his poor Labrador was dancing on the spot. It wasn’t practicing some fancy moves, its feet were on fire as it stood on hot bitumen on a hot day and I can only imagine the blisters it will have as a result.
Please remember to test out the concrete on a hot day before taking your dog out. If you cannot walk outside barefoot, neither can your dog!
