About Lisa
My interest in dogs began when I was given my first dog at the age of five. Ralph quickly became my best friend and continued to be well into my teens.
As a young adult, my love of dogs developed into a career in Veterinary Nursing. During this time, I learnt many things about dogs including the difficulties they face mostly by being misunderstood.
As an older person, the difficulties dogs face became even more evident as I left veterinary nursing and began my own pet sitting business.
The realisation of the misunderstanding in our society in relation to a dog’s basic requirements and the desire to understand my own dogs better, lead me to The Delta Society where I received qualification in Positive Reward Based Training.
Through the Delta course I was very lucky to be mentored by Chiara who assisted me through the whole course. Since graduating I’ve found great pleasure in assisting with and instructing puppy and adult classes, as well as conducting private consultations.
I look forward to continued education and supporting owners and assisting dogs as we all work together to create the best lives for our dogs.
I hope to achieve this while assisting at Point Cook Training and Day Care and by providing dog training and education through my own business ‘From A Dog’s View’.
