We are very excited to announce that this year, Point Cook Dog Training along with Marianne from Mutts, Aimee from A+ Dog Training, Lisa and Anthony and Dr. Gabrielle Carter from Good Pet Behaviour, one of Melbourne’s best Veterinary Behaviourists, will be playing a role at the Dog Lovers Show!
The show will be held at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Carlton and we expect about 30,000 people to walk in the doors and it will start on May the 1st and run until Sunday the 3rd.
We are super excited because WE are doing live classes and demonstrations, showing the public how positive training works and how much fun it is.
This is the first time positive trainers have been able to do this. We will not show case dogs that are drilled to behave like robots, we will be showing the public young dogs that are in the learning process and how we can solve problems and prevent problems by training them using force free methods.
We have collected a team of clients with their amazing dogs and puppies who volunteered their time to be on display so thank you to those that will be involved.
We will also be doing live demonstrations on canine body massage, puppy classes, basic dog training and even talks about canine body language and anxiety.
We will be upstairs at the Ask the Trainer stand so please pop up to see us if you come for the day.
We look forward to seeing you there!
