My name is Chiara Perri and I am the owner and fully accredited instructor at Point Cook Dog Training.

My website offers a whole range of information, ranging from how I train dogs, what services are offered, what products are available, training tips as well as fabulous resources. I can also offer help to those that are choosing a puppy regarding breeds, suitability and sources.

Philosophy

I believe that every dog should have the opportunity to be trained using humane, respectful methods that will help it live successfully within the household and general community. At Point Cook Dog Training, you will learn how to do just that and will be shown how to train your dog using the current best practice method, which is Positive Reinforcement. This not only teaches the dog to do wonderful things for you because it wants to, but also to respect you, trust you and bond with you. There is no fear, physical force, growling or intimidation used during my training sessions because I believe the relationship with your dog is just as important as the skills it will learn. My aim is for both you and your dog to learn great practical skills and have smiles on both ends of the lead while doing so.
